Red-line Ammendments Have Been Posted

The red-line ammendments to the City's Code of Ordinances Chapters 4 and 6 have been posted to the city website for public review. The city council recognizes that the ordinances cannot be effective as tools to enhance property values, health and safety and the economic viability of our community without input from citizens, business owners and other stakeholders from the community.

Summary of Code Amendment Changes Update of July-25

As part of the city's ongoing commitment to protect and enhance public health, safety, and general welfare of the residents, the city is considering amendments to the City's code of ordinances. The City of Junction had identified some recurring issues pertaining to its development-related codes, which negatively impacted the quality of life and caused unsafe, unhealthy, and blighted conditions. This project aimed to address these issues by amending the City's existing code of ordinances.
